Meet Gayle Slotkin, Licensed Clinical Social Worker & AASECT Certified Sex Therapist
REDEEM is pleased to announce a new collaboration with Gayle Slotkin, certified sex therapist from Sexual Health & Counseling Services*.
Collaboration with Gayle is grounded in a shared mission: to create safe, compassionate, and culturally attuned care around intimacy and sexual wellness. Too many men and women have felt dismissed, shamed, or confused when bringing these concerns to medical or mental health providers. We're working together to change that.
We believe Gayle's care will resonate with both women and men who are navigating intimacy, sexual health, and body-related concerns that are often overlooked or difficult to talk about.

For women, this might include:
- Low libido, vaginal pain or dryness, and discomfort during intimacy
- Hormonal transitions such as perimenopause, menopause, or postpartum shifts
- Concerns around sexual identity, body image, or loss of desire
- A desire to reconnect with their body after trauma, birth, aging, or illness
- Religious or cultural beliefs that have shaped how they think and feel about sex
For men, this might include:
- Changes in sexual performance, arousal, or desire
- The emotional and physical impact of stress, anxiety, or aging on intimacy
- Partnering with their spouse through health transitions and wanting to better understand what their partner is experiencing
- Shame, confusion, or silence around intimacy due to cultural expectations or lack of education
- A desire for clear, respectful guidance in navigating their sexual health
